Heather Van Tassel

Heather has 4 years of experience as a data scientist working at several different SaaS tech start-ups. She has a BSc in biochemistry and neuroscience and a master's in Data Science, both from UBC. She has a passion for creating innovative statistical algorithms, automating pipelines, and storytelling with data visualizations. At LGeo she applies her scientific communication, research aptitude and computational skills to support the creation of high-impact climate and equity-based dashboards and reports.
